Description
WARNING! Beginners should be careful as knife is sharp. To reduce risk of injury focus on using wrist movements to control the blade while cutting and also wear protective gear like woodcarving gloves or fingerguards. Be safe!
Blade: the highest grade of forged carbon steel is used in the making of our knife blades. This allows the blade to stay sharper for a longer period of time even with extended use. A sharp blade allows you to work through more projects and carve wood with less effort than lesser quality blades.
Blade Cover: a leather snap on blade cover protects the sharp edge of our hook knives. Not only for safety purposes – but also for the increased lifespan & durability of your hook knife blade. The leather cover allows you to set your knife down on your work bench or inside without worry of an exposed sharp edge. The cover also keeps your blade ready to go by protecting it from other tools or surfaces it may come into contact with.
Handle: designed using oak wood, our handles are slightly curved so they fit perfectly within the palm of your hand for comfort and ease while carving. The wood handle goes through a 6 step sanding process to ensure a smooth finish and comfortable experience.
Uses: The tight curve on the blade of this hook knife makes it a great option for beginners just learning to carve spoons but also a valuable tool to have for any experienced woodcrafter. The curve blade is made specifically for spoon carving and allows for the hollowing of the spoon bowl.
Warranty: Our VistosOhana™ products come with a lifetime warranty. If for any reason the knife should isn’t working as expected, contact our customer service team and we will take care of you immediately. We’re happy when our customers are happy!
